Blanche Irene Caron

1936-2022

Blanche Irene Caron, 86, of Greene passed away Thursday, December 22, 2022 at Clover Health Care, Auburn.

She was born April 9, 1936 in Lewiston the daughter of Ernest and Antonia (Vachon) Caron.

Irene moved from Lewiston to Greene in 1967. She worked in Lewiston shoe shops for many years. Her last place of employment was The Meadows in Greene.

She enjoyed her retirement and loved animals and gardening.

Irene had an adopted daughter who she cared for during her battle with cancer. She also took care of her ailing husband Francis Duguay.

A heartfelt thank you to all the staff who cared for her at Clover Manor.

Irene had a heart of gold and was liked by many people. She was strong-willed, but always in a humorous way.

She is survived by Donna & Dan Bryant, and Mary & James Ingells.

Irene was predeceased by her parents and a sister Pauline Bourque

At her request, there will be no formal services at this time.
