TURNER- Bert F. Pelletier, 54, passed away on June 8th, 2024 surrounded by his loved ones. Bert was diagnosed with GBM in June 2020 and faced this difficult time with faith in the Lord. His strength and fight did not have limits.
Bert was born in Lewiston, Maine on August 24, 1969 to Bertrand and Anita Pelletier. His family moved to Florida when he was a teenager, but his love of Maine called him back when he was 18 years old. Bert worked at the shipyard and in the elevator industry until starting his own building and remodeling business.
His life was blessed with three beautiful children, Emma, Joey, and Sadie, and two beautiful grandchildren, Millie and Aiden.
Bert was an amazing person that loved life and family and friends. He would lend a helping hand to anyone. He’d love to talk to everybody and learn their stories, he was truly interested in people. Bert was always telling jokes, laughing, enjoying life and just having fun. He shared a great love with his wife Leslie and their dogs Jack, Jill, Sal, Rosie and Francis. He also shared a special relationship with his mother-in-law who he fondly called “Ma”.
Bert has two sisters Lisa Ford and Paula Buckner and a brother Scott, his wife, April, and son Matthew all of whom reside in Florida. Bert most loved spending time with his family, friends and his dogs. He enjoyed simple pleasures in life. Bert is already so missed, but the endless memories he created will keep his home full of laughter and light. God Bless
A Memorial Mass honoring Bert’s life will be celebrated on Friday, June 14, 2024 at 11:00 AM at St. Philip’s Church. Committal prayers will then follow at Turner Village Cemetery.
