

Lewiston - Bernard F. Parker (Barney) of Auburn, died Tuesday morning of an aortic aneurysm. He was 89 years old. Bernard was part of the 10th Armored Division in WWII and served in the Battle of the Bulge. He married Dorothy Dean in 1947 and joined Dean’s Heating where he worked his entire career.
He was active in his church and enjoyed making crafts for the church fair. He could sell anything to anyone, and he and the buyer both had a laugh doing it. He is survived by his three sons and their wives; Mark and Deb, Eric and Lynda, and David and Lisa, and four grandchildren Shary, Kimberly, Lucas, and Currier. He was predeceased by Dorothy, his wife of 61 years.
He was loved by many and his presence will be missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services at the Minot Methodist Church, Route 121 & Empire Road, Minot, Sunday 4:00 PM.
