John Davis Barham

Dear father of Gayle (Ken) Maust, Joyce (Ed) Kai, Sharon (Dennis) Kaip, Richard (Gen) Barham, David Spaulding (Son-in-law), and Deanna Barham (daughter-in-law); caring grandfather of Jeffrey (Lisa) Barham, Kelli (Mark) Kaczmarek, Kathryn (Jon) Tobias, Kenneth (Michelle) Maust, Julie Kai, Mathew (Brittany) Kaip, Holly Kaip, Christian Barham, and Shelby Barham; and great-grandfather of Brandon, Joshua, and Justin Barham, Matthew and Sophia Kaczmarek, Hunter and Jackson Tobias, Eythan Juden, and Rowen Kaip. John was predeceased by his beloved wife of 62 years, Helen Lucille Barham; children Stella Spaulding and Gerald Barham; and grandson David Spaulding.

John was born the son of Gus and Mary (Stone) Barham in Crutchfield, Kentucky on August 21, 1923. He married Helen Lucille Binford on November 25, 1943. John worked as a truck driver for Chatham Supermarkets and retired on August 21, 1983 at the age of 60.

John loved his wife and family. He also loved to garden and travel with Lucille in their fifth wheel for many years. They lived in Florida for twenty years and loved every moment.

John’s family will receive all for a visitation on Friday October 26, 2018 from 11 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 12 p.m. at Pixley Funeral Home, located at 3530 W. Auburn Rd in Auburn Hills, Michigan. Interment will be at Florida National Cemetery.
