Gini was born in Hammond, Indiana where she lived most of her life. She moved to MI four years ago to be closer to family. She graduated from Donald E. Gavit High School in 1976, and from Sawyer Business School in 1978. She also went on to obtain her Nurses Aid Diploma and worked much of her life in that career. She worked in private healthcare and then Munster Med Inn. Gini was a member of the Griffith Indiana Free Methodist Church for 45 years, and then transferred her membership to Stone Haven Free Methodist Church in Troy after her move to MI. She recently was attending online services of the Dearborn Free Methodist Church, due to mobility issues. She had a passion for God, family, friends, and animals. Gini was a sweet soul who would do anything for her friends and family. When she was able, she would do numerous errands for people, and always served in a joyful manner. She loved her Davita Dialysis staff and friends she had made there. Anyone who knew her was better for it and her presence in our lives will be greatly missed. There is a memorial service planned for early spring, and internment will be at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Schererville, IN.
