Eskew Trammel peacefully passed from this life on Tuesday, October 30, 2012, surrounded by his family. Eskew was happily married to his loving wife Ethel for 67 years. He was a valued employee at GM for 32 years, retired and spent many happy years in Florida with his wife, golfing and biking. He was a self-taught man in many ways, a wonderful mentor to his children, with a great sense of humor. Eskew served in the Army during WWII building bridges, and saved the life of one of his buddies when they were bombed. A strong, kind and loving man, Eskew was always there if you needed him, and was loved by many. Eskew is the beloved father of Linda Paul (Harold), Timothy Trammel (Barb), Penny Trammel-MacKenzie, Steve Trammel (Pamela), and Jeffrey Trammel (Kelly), preceded in death by his 2 children, Penny Lynn and Robin James. He is beloved grandfather of Scott, Michael, Jim, Vicky (Frank), Tammy (Gordon), Marc (Cathy), Tina (Pete), Macaela, Bradley, Emily, Holly (Dave), Jessica (Steve), and Heather (Joseph). He was beloved great-grandfather to Dylan and Cheyenne, Bryce, Natalie, Addison and Jax, Samuel, Sarah and Samantha, Jackson and Henry, Calvin and Mckenna, Reagan, Evan and Colin, Joseph.
