Eric Lawrence Soderberg

Eric Lawrence Soderberg, 60 years old, of Taylor, MI passed away very peacefully on Monday, February 8, 2016 surrounded by family. Eric was born and raised in Pontiac, Michigan. He was the second eldest of five children. He graduated from Pontiac Northern High School in 1973. Eric retired from General Motors in 2004 after thirty one years of loyal service and then continued to work as an Industrial Mechanic for eleven more years.

Eric was a hard-working man who really enjoyed working with his hands. However, he was actually a farmer at heart and the outdoors, golf and gardening brought him true joy and satisfaction. He was a loving husband to Tracy, the love of his life, and a devoted father to their son Tony, of whom he was so very proud. Eric was devoted to his God, his family and his church. He had a true servant’s heart and sincerely enjoyed serving God by helping others.

Eric was recently preceded in death by his father, Alfred Soderberg. He is survived by his very loving family: wife Tracy, son Tony, mother Donna, brothers Edwin and Jim (E.J.), sisters Angela and Allison as well as many loving nieces, nephews and in-laws.
