Bill Neal Burton

Bill was born the son of Bernard and Doris (Scaggs) Burton in Ashland, Kentucky on May 11, 1959. He graduated high school in 1977 and moved to Auburn Hills to work for General Motors. Bill married Tammy Toman on July 6, 2001. He retired from General Motors in 2009 after 30 years of service at the Truck and Bus plant.

Bill loved to fish anywhere he could get a pole in the water. He was a caring, giving, unselfish man who would help anyone.

Bill is survived by his wife Tammy Burton; sister Vickie ( Pete) Grismer; nieces Amy Scarfos; nephews Joey and Tracy Johnson, and Christopher Grissmer; great nephew Skye Scarfos. He was predeceased by his parents Benard and Doris Burton, and sister Helen Johnson.

Bill's family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
