Yvonne Marie Ivovic

Loving wife, mother, sister, Baba and friend.

Yvonne was born March 21, 1939 in Oakland, CA and peacefully passed at her home in Newcastle, CA on October 8, 2015, surrounded by her loving family. Yvonne is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Petar. They met and later married September 26, 1959 in Oakland, CA. This is where they started their family of 5 children, Mary Ann, Theresa, Greg, Susan and Antone. There are 11 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and many grand-pets. She also leaves behind 3 loving sisters Carel, Margaret and Betty as well as many nieces and nephews.

Yvonne was a member of the Catholic Ladies, St. Teresa's Choir and The Red Hat Ladies. Yvonne had loved hiking, camping, dancing and music as a young girl and into her adult life. She even hike Mt. Whitney and danced at the state fair in Sacramento, CA. Yvonne loved being surrounded by all her family and friends, whether it be hanging out at home, camping, gardening or raising of many animals. More often than not there would be some singing involved.

Yvonne was loved by all and loved ALL!

Service to be held Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church in Auburn, CA.

Rosary to begin at 11:30am, Mass to follow at 12:30pm.

Internment will be immediately following at Newcastle cemetery, 850 Taylor Road., Newcastle, CA.
