Theodore Daniel Johnson

Ted was born on November 24th, 1939 in Hibbing, Minnesota to Elmer and Goldie Johnson. His family later moved to California when he was just a child. He went on to meet his lovely wife Joanne. Ted and Joanne were married on September 6th, 1958 in Sunnyvale, California. Together they raised their two children, Debbie and David. In 1973 they moved to Foresthill, California where they continued to cherish every moment together.

Ted served in the U.S. Navy. He went on to work for Teichert Construction for over 40 years before retiring. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. His special interests were being in the outdoors hunting and gold panning.

Ted is preceded in death by his father Elmer Johnson and son David Johnson. He is survived by his beautiful loving wife of 56 years, Joanne Johnson, his mother Goldie Johnson, sister Diane Oliver (Steve), brother Tommy Johnson (Winnie), daughter Debbie Millsaps (Jerry), grandson’s Robby Oyer (Janeen) and Kory Johnson, granddaughter Theanne Gruhlke (Jason), 6 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

In following with Ted’s wishes, no memorial service will be held. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Foresthill Fire Department.
