Peggy Jean Rader

Peggy J. Rader passed away late in the evening on April 24, 2023, in her home, surrounded by her family. Peggy was the surviving spouse of Donald M. Rader whom she was married to for 47 years. They had 5 children, 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Peggy and her husband had made Auburn their home since 1984. She was an active member of the community. She was a founder of the St. Joseph’s thrift store and volunteered there for about 30 years.

She enjoyed singing in the church choir, was a member of the Catholic Ladies Association, She was a eucharistic minister to the sick and home bound, as well as the Red Hat Society.

Peggy loved her family, loved the Lord, and loved being of service. She was an amazing woman, and her family is grateful that she is now resting in peace.

A service is being held for her at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church Tuesday May 16th at 1pm 11600 Atwood Rd Auburn, Ca 95603
