Marvin Wayne Neel “Marv” as he was called by his family and friends, was called home to be with the Lord on January 2, 2024. Born to Ken and Carol Neel in Ontario Oregon on October 16, 1947, he lived to be 76 years old. Marv was the second born of five including Charles Neel, Vickie (Ed) Yee, Connie (Dale) Poppleton and Ronald (Cindy) Neel. Early in life after graduating and joining the Air Force Reserve Marv ambitiously took the reins of the family business Fair Oaks Auto and Truck Wrecking from his father Ken around 1978. He worked hard and grew the business into what he later named All Dodge Truck. Along the way he forged many lifelong friendships, many who still come into the business ran by his nephew to this day. Outside of the wrecking yard, Marv’s love of music became apparent at a young age. Influenced by his father Ken, he became quite skilled at the guitar as he followed in his footsteps and pursued a second career in a country western band where he was very successful and touched the hearts and minds of many. Marv was a loving husband of 32 years to Sandie Neel, loving father to Dawn Neel and Heidi Frame, loving stepfather to Dana Morris Naiditch and Dennell Preis. He was also a loving Grandfather to Mareena, Sam, Drew, Emmett, Norah, Austin, Joey, Carson, Shelby, Colby and Leah. Great Grandfather to Maddie, Haven, Aurora, Gerardo, Mikeiayla, Giovanna and Yareli. A cherished uncle to dozens of nieces and nephews and a loving Father-in-law to many. Marv was loved by all who knew him, he loved God, country, guitars and of course Dodge trucks! His passing leaves a massive void in the lives of all who knew him, he will forever be remembered and honored by all who loved him.
