Linda Kay Jupin was a fierce, loving, loyal, stubborn, friendly, funny, beautiful Godly woman who went home to be with the Lord on Friday August 11th, just as the sun rose over the foothills. Her heart gave out but her spirit never broke. At 70 years old, Linda loved to paint and sing, to work on her flowers, and to be at the beach. But most of all, Linda loved God and her family.
Linda and Jim met in youth group and they were married in college. She was an incredible mom to her children Rachel and Matthew (and a second mom to all their friends.) Her creativity flourished as the most adored Nana in the world to her grandchildren Declan and Katie.
Over 40 years of teaching and working with kids has ensured her a legacy of love and laughter. She kept closely in touch with her sister Rose and brother Doug, and all their extended friends and family. Anyone who met Linda knew she loved Jesus, and she loved them.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday August 19th at 2pm at Crossroads Church South Campus, 1101 Auburn Ravine Rd in Auburn. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Linda’s name to Crossroads Church for foreign missions to benefit children.
