Frances and my mother Dorothy were life long friends. They are together again with God and all the loved ones that have gone before. Sweet, dear Francis. God bless your family.

My Bonk, My Second-Mom, I miss you more than words can say.  Thank you for your love, your guidance, and your unwavering support.  Your influence on my life goes without measure and I am so grateful for the times we have shared together.  I see you in everything I do, I hear your laughter when I pull a crazy stunt, and I feel your unconditional love always.  I will miss our happy hours, our special dates, our trips to the city and the mountains, and your hugs.  I love you.

Francis was one one of the kindest souls around.  Her smile and laughter would light up a room in no time. She had such a cute giggle as well and I loved watching Leslie and her interact.  Lots of love there, that is for sure.  My heart goes out to Leslie, Steve and all their families.  Rest in peace dear Francis...

I loved Frances as a friend, a second mother. She was one of the sweetest, dearest people I have ever known. She helped me through the most difficult time of my life and never judged. I will miss her so much. We were all so lucky to have her in our lives. I am glad she is reunited with her beloved husband.

We always remember the hospitality of Aunt Frances when we visited our California relatives.  We accompanied her to reunions, had special breakfasts with her in her home and loved to visit her.  She was a very special person and you have our sympathy at this difficult time.

Dear Leslie and Family;
How sorry I am for this loss, yet how happy I am for what must be a blessed reunion for your Mom and Dad.  The pride they must feel when they look at all of you and the lives you lead, the strength with which you meet struggle.  It is my hope that you will accept this blessing of comfort as you walk through this time.  My Spirit will be walking with yours silently beside you.  As the days go by there may come a time when you are sitting with a warm cup of tea looking out the window, perhaps you will have a notebook and pen with you and you will feel your Mother's blessed energy near you.  Breathe in and fill yourself with her love.  Then, ask her for the recipe!

An obituary does not begin to capture the beauty of my mom and her spirit. A wonderful and fun-loving mom, grandmother and great grandmother, she was raised by adventurous and loving parents in the beauty of Yosemite National Park. She married the love of her life, Andrew Dougherty, and it is with peace we accept she is with him again. She was a social butterfly and everyone who met her, loved her.
