Clara Anna Trocha was taken into her Saviors waiting arms on March 15, 2015. Clara was born in Newark, New Jersey to John B. Rupp and Ruth (Dumont) Rupp on January 15, 1930. She grew up in Livingston, New Jersey graduating from Caldwell High School. She was involved in Girls Scout with her mother and sister. Her first job was a soda Jerk at Silverman’s where she met her husband, Robert. Clara also worked at N. J. Bell. She married Robert G. Trocha. The couple moved to Shreveport, Louisiana for a few years. They returned to Mendem and Old Bridge, New Jersey. Then in 1969 moved to San Jose, California with their family. Clara became involved with many church activities at Our Savior Lutheran Church, especially with the Good Shepherd Auxiliary making crafts that helped support the Good Shepherd Homes of the West for mentally challenged residence. Clara then moved to Auburn, California retiring with her husband where she enjoyed nature, family & friends.
Clara was preceded in death by her parents John B. and Ruth Rupp, her sister Ruth O’Leary, Martha and Max Richard Trocha, Richard Trocha, Herbert Trocha, Richard Worcester and Elsie and Don Worcester. She leaves her husband Robert, children Pamella Trocha, Karen Trocha Lamb, Robert Trocha, and son in law, Daniel Lamb; grandchildren Kenneth Lamb, Melissa Lamb, Caylin Trocha and Madison Trocha. Clara also leaves her brother in law Jack O’Leary, sister in law Dolly Trocha, and nieces Lynn Marsh (Worcester) and RuthAnn Walsh (O'Leary).
We will miss her warm smile, beautiful laugh, loving kind ways, and her forgiving nature. We admired the way she bore her cross in faithfulness – longing for her creator to rid her of her ailing painful body. For God promises us God shall wipe away all tears… there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying neither shall there be any more pain for the former things are passed away.
In loving memory of Clara memorial services will be held at Holy Cross Lutheran Church Rocklin, Ca. April 25, 2015 at 2 pm and then May 7, 2015 2 pm at Our Savior Lutheran Church Cupertino, Ca. Burial will be at Restland Memorial Park Cemetery, East Hanover, New Jersey the same location that she and Robert were married almost 59 years ago. There Clara will rest with other loved family members.
