Alans family;  I am so sorry for your loss. I just learned of Alans passing. For years worked together at Industrial Plumbing & Heating. Over time we lost touch with one another but I never forgot him. He was truly one of a kind. Alan always had (his) great smile. There was nothing negative about him everything was always positive he had the best attitude of anybody I have ever known. The first time you met him you new you had found a friend. My hat is off to you Alan a really great guy.

I am so sorry for your loss. He was an amazing, caring man. I am thankful that he was a part of my life for many years. I will never forget our trip to Dillons Beach and going horseback riding.  Alan and I knew each other almost 50 years (49 yrs 3mths)  together we raised two son’s Monte & Todd Many referred to us as the “All American Family” it was just the four of us doing everything together. 
There were many adventures we shared, good and bad as teens,as adults,as parents but what fun we had.  

Alan believed in “go for the gusto” 

After 24 years of marriage we did go our separate ways Alan and I remained close friends as we had promised each other we would do many years before. 
Our  friendship was unique, special and maybe even unusual 
Very few knew or understood the special relationship Alan and I had and it remained as such all these years

Alan has always been there for me and now one more time I will be there for you Alan to say good-by
