Irene R. Wise

Irene R. Wise (86) of Attica passed Saturday, August 06, 2016 at Mercy Health of Willard. She was born November 26, 1929 in Bismark, Huron County, Ohio to the late Walter and Rose (Miller) Brown. Mrs. Wise was married September 8, 1951 to Julius J. Wise who preceded her in death on October 1, 2009. She was a graduate of Bellevue High School, Class of 1948 and worked at the GE Plant in Bellevue and later at CE White in New Washington but spent most of her life home-making and working alongside Julius on their farm. Mrs. Wise was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, Rosary Altar Society and former member of the Seneca Farm Bureau. She enjoyed puzzles, sewing, gardening, baking pies and cherished spending time with her family.

Mrs. Wise is survived by 2 sons: Marvin J. Wise and Robert A. Wise, both of Attica. 4 daughters: Janice M. Wise of Wadsworth, OH, Linda R. Bischoff of Willard, Sandra K. (Karl) Weaver of Attica and Judith A. Wise of Attica. 7 grandchildren: Brian (Michelle) Bischoff, late Andrew (Sheri) Bischoff, David Bischoff, A.J. (Emily Limbird) Bischoff, Ted Weaver, Joe Weaver, and Jill (Mark) Rudecki. 10 Great Grandchildren: Elyse, Amber, Devin, Tyler, Ava and Mataya Bischoff and D.J. Ruffing, Julius, Elijah and Isaiah Rudecki. 2 sisters: Justine Wise of Tiffin and Mildred (Glade) Hiler of New Washington and sister in law: Florence Brown of Bellevue.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, grandson: Andrew Bischoff, brother: Bernard Brown and 2 sisters: Florence Hahler and Valeria Daniel.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 A.M. Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at Our Lady of Hope Church, Attica with Fr. Joseph Szybka officiating. Burial will be in the Sts Peter and Paul Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday 3-8 P.M. at the Lindsey-Foos-Kocher Funeral Service, 295 W. Tiffin Street, Attica.
