Wanda graduated from Etowah High School and from the University of Montevallo where she earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology.
Wanda was preceded in death by her mother, Mavis Tucker Smith, her brother, Rodney Dean Gray, and her grandparents, Maude L. Tucker, Hazel Gray and George Gray.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 35 years, Donald “Don” Hall, daughter, Lacey Hall, sister, Rochelle Gray Keener (Donnie), brother, Charles Dewayne Smith (Leah) and numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by special friends enny and Sam Parker.
To know Wanda was to love her. She was quiet, generous, unassuming and loving. Wanda especially loved teaching children. More importantly, Wanda was a faithful Christian. The world is a little less cheerful, a little less bright without her presence, but heaven is rejoicing now that she is “home.”
There will be a memorial service on Friday, December 6, 2024 to celebrate the life of Wanda Gray Hall at the Betta-View Hills Church of Christ in Oxford, Alabama with visitation beginning a 1:00 P.M and the service beginning at 2:00 P.M.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to an Education Fund at Noble Bank and Trust that has been set up for her daughter’s college education or donate to the Betta-View Hills Church of Christ.
