Funeral Service will be at 2:30 Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at Morgan Funeral Chapel with Rev. Tony Holcomb officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 1:30 until 2:30pm. Entombment with Military Honors will be at Maple Grove Mausoleum, Alexandria, AL.
Verbon served in the United States Army and was a retired Truck Driver. He loved life and was a fan of NASCAR and old muscle cars. Verbon was married for 54 years to Nancy Harper.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Harper. He is survived by his sons, Rodney (Janice) Harper, Kelley Dewayne (Cassandra); grandchildren, Makenna Harper, Lance Harper, Jackson Harper, Ashley Campbell; great grandchildren, Parker, Easton and Miley.
Pallbearers are Kelley Harper, Lance Harper, Jackson Harper, Jimmy (Pete) Fitts, Shane Brothers, and Kevin Hill.
Honorary pallbearer will be Matthew Malloy.
