

Funeral services for Suzie will be held at Morgan Funeral Chapel on Sunday, April 13, 2025. The family will receive visitors in the Chapel from 11:00 AM until the time of the service at 1:00 PM. Minister Carmen Yates will officiate the Chapel service and Jason Bozeman, Suzie's Theatre teacher will speak. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery where Bishop Stephen Helms will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Malcom Bynum, Lyle Rundell, Hugh Rundell, Bradley Pruett, Ethan James, Lindsey Frederick and Coleman Frederick.
She is survived by her parents, Jennifer Frederick and Sam Frederick (Krisi Frederick); sister, Samantha; brother, Xander; sister, Charlie; and her Uncle Malcolm Bynum (Alex Bynum).
Susannah spent her first seven years in school at Ivalee Elementary where she was an honor roll student during every grading cycle. In May 2018, she received Etowah County’s Student of the Month award due to her outstanding achievements in academics, spelling, math, robotics, 4-H, and theatre.
Suzie made her stage debut as a baby spider in Charlotte’s Web when she was 5. From that point, she participated in around 60 shows with Theatre of Gadsden, Releve, Rainbow Middle School, Gadsden City High School, Southside High School, CCT kids, CAST kids, Bama Rep and Ghostlight Theatre. She performed and excelled in vocal and theatre competitions with the state Trumbauer High School Theatre Festival, CCT Elite, AYTE, and more.
Suzie cherished her favorite shows and roles which included Annie (Star to be); Mean Girls Jr. (Janis); The Little Mermaid (Ursula); The Little Mermaid Jr. (Flounder); Cinderella (Fairy Godmother); The Lightning Thief (Charon and the Oracle); A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Titania); and Zombie Prom (Miss Strict). She was also honored to be selected as a backup singer for Broadway Star Luca Padavan at the Junior Theatre Festival in 2020.
She participated in choir, art and theatre throughout middle and high school, which included time at Rainbow Middle, Gadsden City High and culminated in graduation from Southside High School in 2024.
Suzie had passion for artistic expression in all forms including makeup, costuming, sculpture, theatre and music. She radiated an undeniable and infectious energy when she had the opportunity to share her gifts. She shone brightest when she was on the stage. Anyone fortunate enough to witness her perform knew they had received a rare and powerful gift. The light and melody she brought into each life she touched will continue to shine, radiate and fill our hearts with music.
