Shelley Renee Wilson Coley

A Memorial service will be held in her honor at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Attalla on Tuesday evening, June 12th, 2018 at 6:30 P.M.

The family will receive friends for visitation at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. with the memorial service to follow.

Shelley was a native of Etowah County and a 1994 graduate of Ashville High School. Shelley was a proud alum of Jacksonville State University where she earned her Master’s degree in Psychology. A longtime advocate for education- she used her resources to promote access to learning for the underprivileged. Shelley was an Instructor at Jefferson State Community College for over sixteen years, teaching Psychology courses and assisting in overseeing the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. Shelley was also an instructor with VIPKID, teaching English as a second language to children internationally. A devoted mother, she adored her daughters and dedicated herself to them tirelessly. She is preceded in death by; her father, Kenneth Wilson; mother, Sheila Parker; and grandmother, Ruth Wilson.
