Sarah Hyatt

Sarah Ruth Hyatt 77 of Steele passed away January 21, 2021. Graveside service will be at 12:30p.m. Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the service from 12p.m. until 12:30p.m.

Sarah was a lifelong resident of St. Clair County. She was an avid reader. She loved to farm and watch things grow. She enjoyed her friends and neighbors company. Sarah retired from UAB Hospital. She was an active member of Weight Watchers. She loved being with her family and grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Veston Hyatt; father, Oscar Treadwell; mother, Fannie Treadwell; brothers, JT, Andrew, Douglas, John, Robert, Billie, IC, and Ronnie Treadwell; granddaughter, Gracie Hyatt; and Grandson, Ritchie Hyatt.

She is survived by her children; Paul (Susan) Hyatt, Craig (Samantha) Hyatt, and Karen (Alfredo) Hyatt; grandchildren; Stephanie (Chris) Wahl, Jessica (Cory) Bankston, Jacob Hyatt, Joshua Hyatt, Joseph Hyatt, Elizabeth Hyatt, Brittany Hyatt, Judy (Ricardo) Hernandez, and Alyssa Hyatt; great-grandchildren; Evan Wahl, Shelby Wahl, Raiden Wahl, Lane Bankston, Brinley Bankston, Lawson Bankston, Sergio Mireles, Ashley Hernandez, and Elena Hernandez; sister, Bertha M. Wilson; brother, Jack Treadwell; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ronald McDonald House, St. Judes or American Cancer Society.

Pallbearers include- Jacob Hyatt, Joshua Hyatt, Joseph Hyatt, Chris Wahl, Cory Bankston, Ricardo Hernandez and Marco Velez. Honorary pallbearers will be; Chad Smith and Johnny Hyatt.

The family asked that anyone attending the service and visitation please wear a mask.
