Rebecca Bell Jenkins

Rebecca Bell Jenkins, age 87, of Altoona, Alabama went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, July 27, 2023 with her family by her side. Services for Mrs. Jenkins will held at Morgan Funeral Chapel, Attalla, Alabama, on Tuesday, August 1, 2023. The family will accept visitors from 10:00am until the time of service at 12:00pm. Burial to follow at Mt. Olive Cemetery, Altoona, Alabama. with Bro. Jerry Owens officiating. Morgan Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.

Rebecca was a member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, cooking, traveling to the Smokey Mountains and the times spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her parents, Grady Bell and Pearl Goble Bell;her husband, Hiram Lafeyette Jenkins; three brothers and two sisters.

Rebecca is survived by her daughter, Anita (John) Morgan; sons, Hiram M. (Cherylann) Jenkins and Andrew (Tina) Jenkins; grandchildren, Jason Morgan, Mellissa (Brent) Harris, Daniel (Kristen) Morgan, Mary Jenkins, Paige (Will) Jolley, Celsey (Riley) Young, and eleven great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Jason Morgan, Daniel Morgan, Will Jolley, Riley Young, Ed Bell, and Lynn Bell.
