Memorial Services for Mr. Randall Martin Cowan, age 67 of Gadsden, will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2022, at 12:00 P.M. at Morgan Funeral Chapel with William Spurlock and Tommie Carr officiating.
Randy passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2022, in Rainbow City. A lifelong resident of Gadsden, he graduated from Gadsden High school in 1973. Randy worked as an Electrician for most of his life and doing general repairs, he was always working on or fixing something. He enjoyed watching baseball, NASCAR races, and a huge fan of Alabama Football, the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Yankees. Randy had a great sense of humor but was brutally honest when he needed to be. Coca-Cola was his favorite drink, he was a family man and loved his momma, wife, children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Shari Cowan, his sons, Jeremy Shiver (LeAnn) and Josh Shiver, his grandchildren, Jaxon and Jazyln Shiver, his sister, Sheila Bishop (Terry), his niece, Jennifer Wright (Clay) and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest C. Cowan and Margaret J. Cowan, and his previous wife, Linda Cowan.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2022, from 11:00 A.M. until service time at 12:00 P.M. at Morgan Funeral Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis organization, 2200 Woodcrest PL #230, Birmingham, AL 35209.
