Paulette "Paula" Cynthia Abercrombie

Visitation for Paula will be held at Morgan Funeral Chapel on Saturday October 5th at 11:00 with a service to be officiated by Larry Brasher to follow at 12:00. Burial will be at Rainbow Memorial Gardens.

Paula was a graduate of Etowah High School, attended Alverson Draughon Business College, and worked at Redstone Arsenal. Paula was a devoted mother, homemaker, wife, and grandmother who consistently supported and cared for her grandchildren. She was an avid antique collector and dealer, was passionate about gardening and flowers, and was known for a having a beautiful yard. Paula was also an animal lover whose dog Lucy stayed by her side throughout her illness.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Pauline Braswell; son James Jr (Jimmy) Abercrombie; brother George Jr (Buster) Braswell; and sister Melanie Braswell Johnson.

She is survived by her devoted and loving husband James (Jim) Abercrombie; daughter Polly Abercrombie; grandchildren Josh Abercrombie (Kayla), Amanda Stewart (Jared), and Savannah Wigginton (Logan); great grandchildren Austin Abercrombie, Eli Stewart, Colt Stewart, and Riley Wigginton.

Pallbearers will be Lee Abercrombie, Chad Abercrombie, Wayne Hagood, Phillip Braswell, Ben Noojin, and Edward Lee.
