Funeral Services for Mr. Michael Phillip Wise will be held on Monday, December 11, 2023 at 12:00 P.M. at Morgan Funeral Chapel with Bro. Donnie Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.

It is with It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Michael Phillip Wise of Attalla, Alabama, who passed away on December 3, 2023, at the age of 66, leaving family and friends to mourn.

Mr. Wise, a cherished spouse to Jimmie Lou Wise for 48 years, he served in The United States Army Reserves. Mr. Wise's professional journey spanned across various roles, first as a truck driver for Wise Logging, the family business, for an extensive period, and later as an employee at Central Seed & Supply Inc. for over a decade. Besides his work, he found immense joy in hunting and had an unyielding affection for Ford Mustangs. He is revered not only as a loving husband but also as a devoted father, grandfather, and friend.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Gladys Battles Wise, and his father, Carl Wise. Grandson: David Wise, and his brother, Steve Wise. He is survived by his wife, Jimmie Lou Wise; daughters Lorna Lee Johnston (Jeff) and Lisa Renee Horton (Michael); sons Zackery Wise (Searra) and Bradley Wise, Justin Wise, and Michael Wise; and his grandchildren: Katelyn, Cheyenne Horton, Ethan, and Landon Johnston, Zaddah, Sarah Kate, and (Mary Lee) Wise, Aubrey Wise, River Wise, Brayden Wise, Jaidyn Wise, Mackenzie Wise, and Caidyn Wise. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Active pallbearers will be Danny Greer, David Franklin, Garrett Owens, Mark Blackwell, Jerry Armstrong, and Dylan Broom.

Honorary pallbearers will be Glenn Ewing and Bo Floyd.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 11, 2023 from 10:30 A.M. until service time at 12:00 P.M. at Morgan Funeral Chapel.
