Mary Denise Benefield

Funeral service to honor her life will be held at 12 noon on Thursday, January 17th at Morgan Funeral Chapel. David Goodman will officiate the service. Burial to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Mary was a graduate of Etowah High School,class of 2013 where she marched in the colorguard. She then attended Gadsden State Community College, graduating in 2016.

Mary leaves behind;

Parents, Chris and Angela Benefield.

Fiance, Brian Dempsey.

Brother, Seth (Jessi) Benefield.

Sisters, Shellby Benefield and Nya Champion.

Niece, Avery Benefield.

Nephew, Grayson Benefield.

Grandparents, Oscar and Bonnie Link, Janice Wade, and Faye Benefield.

Along with a host of loving aunts and uncles, cousins, and extended family.

Biological siblings, Joah Christian, Matthew Pinkston, and Anna Pinkston.

Special thanks to Renae Larson and Chris Pinkston for giving us this wonderful gift for 22 years.

Mary was preceded in death by; Grandfathers, James “Papa Jim” Benefield, Ronnie “Papa Ron” King, Billy Joe “Papa” Wade and Mary and Brian’s baby forever with Mary: Luke Dempsey.

Special thanks ARMC ER, Nurse Julie, and Mary’s family at Hardee’s.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers; Ryan Benefield, Dakota Minyard, Blaine Minyard, Matthew Fountain, Joseph Fountain, Brandon Dorough, David Link, and Paul Link.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Grant, Elliot, and Jeremy Benefield, along with Ty Stocks.

The family will receive friends for visitation at Morgan Funeral Chapel on Wednesday evening from 5 to 7 P.M.
