Joyce was born to Tommie and Lila Mae Perry in Gadsden, AL. on February 23, 1955. She was 69 years old. Joyce was a property manager for many years but was a writer at heart and was published by The National Library of Poetry: Verdant Lands of Spring. She was fueled by Jesus and coffee. Joyce loved Jesus, her (sweetie) husband, daughters, “grand ones,” kitties, and coffee. Joyce was a woman full of love and wisdom from a life well lived. Her family was the most important thing in her world and time spent with the ones she loved was the air she breathed. Family and friends were naturally drawn to her warmth and charm. Her incredible strength, kindness, and generosity knew no bounds. She lived by Luke 6:38, “Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” Joyce was an avid fan of The Wizard of Oz, now she can honestly say that there is no place like home.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Tommie and Lila Mae Perry; sisters, Janette Perry and Brenda Chapman.
