Teddy was a hard worker of different trades. Teddy was a Union Millwright for 12 years and a brick mason for over 20 years. He was a very loyal Alabama Football fan, he wouldn’t miss a game if he didn’t have to even if he was on vacation. Teddy was an absolute “River Rat” during every summer. He was always taking his girls (his biggest fans.) He also loved music and loved to sing like nobody was listening. He was always happy and loved making people smile. He had a big personality. He was definitely a Great Daddy!
He was preceded in death by Harold (Doddle) Mims, Jackson (Lola) Mims, Mable (Russell) Harbaugh and Jerry Jae Rich.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Mims; daughters, Bailey Grace and Riley Rai Mims; mother, Charlotte Mims; sister, Amanda Mims; mother in law, Barbie Cleveland; brother in law, Brandon Limbaugh; nephews and nieces, Tyler (Jordan) Moody, Andria Kate Limbaugh, Hunter (Tami’a) Moody; great nephews, Henry, Avery, and Drew Moody.
Pallbearers will be his lifelong best friend, Michael Robertson, Brandon Limbaugh, Pat Horton, Alan McNaron, Chad Horton, and Dakota Reaves.
Special thanks given to all family and friends that supported Teddy and his family through these difficult times. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.morganfuneralchapel.com for the Mims family.
