Visitation for Mr. Bryant will be on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at Morgan Funeral Chapel from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM with a Graveside service to follow at Rainbow Memorial Gardens at 1:00 PM. Rev. Harold Coe to officiate.
John graduated from Susan Moore High School with the Class of 1955. He served in the United States Army and spent most of his enlisted time in Alaska. He worked at Gulf States Steel and retired with 43 years of service. John was everyone's auto mechanic for most of his life and was an avid beekeeper, which he learned from his father, K.D. Bryant.
He was preceded in death by his parents, K.D Bryant and Zillie Rena Cameron Bryant; and brother, Joe Bryant.
John is survived by his wife of 67 years, Betty Sue Bryant; son, Phillip (Sheree) Bryant; daughters, Sheila (Michael) Fanchier, Brenda (Lamar) Miller, and Cathy (George) Rhoden; grandchildren, Jason Bryant, Jessica (Chris) Ashley, Dana (Brian) Bailey, Kevin (Brandy) Tucker, Blake Handy, Christopher Rhoden, Danielle Moore, and Lindsay Richardson; 11 great-grandchildren and PawPaws special great-grandson's, Cole and Chase Ashley; brother, Coy (Susie) Bryant, Locust Fork, AL; and sisters, Audrey (Jim) Weeks, Florida and Zelma Davis, Oneonta, AL.
Pallbearers are Phillip Bryant, Jason Bryant, Michael Fanchier, Chris Ashley, Blake Handy, and Richard Thrasher.
Morgan Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
