Jeremy Lee Brown, 31, of Attalla, Alabama passed away on June 25, 2017. Jeremy was loved by many friends and family, both local and miles away. He was known for, and will always be remembered by, his bright smile. Jeremy was an extremely hard worker and loved the outdoors, where hunting and fishing were some of his greatest joys.
Jeremy was born March 10, 1986 to Gary and Kay Brown, who loved him unconditionally. He was baptized at First Baptist Church in Attalla, where he was involved in the youth group. Jeremy was a 2004 graduate of Etowah High School, where he was a standout place kicker for the 2002-2004 Blue Devil football team. He loved his work and was a dedicated employee of 7 Fold Technologies Premier Satellite Company.
Jeremy is survived by his parents, Gary and Kay Brown; grandmothers Helen Brown and Frances Powell; aunts and uncles who loved Jeremy as their own: Debra (Bob) Cross, Donna (Duane) Smith, Ricky (Karen) Brown, and Raymond Powell; cousins Amy, Sam, and Livy Duffey, Stacy, Bryant, and Harris Moore, Breann and Will Smith, Leslie Smith, Jason Smith, Devin Powell, Jordan Brown; and best friend Nicole Hodge Butler.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Beamon and Jo Powell, Gerald Brown, and his best friend Mitchell Humphrey.
The funeral service will be held at 6 P.M. on Tuesday, June 27 with the family accepting visitors from 4-6 PM prior to the service at Morgan Funeral Chapel.
Brother Earl Mitchell will be officiating the service.
Pallbearers will be Jordan Brown, Jim Brittain, Ryan Carter, John Cox, Sam Duffey, Ryan McClendon, Bryant Moore, and Will Smith.
Honorary Pallbearers are Ed Spivey and the management and employees at 7 Fold Technologies Premier Satellite Company.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials can be made to First Baptist Church of Attalla.
The family would like to thank Brother Earl Mitchell and the entire First Baptist Church Attalla family on their constant love and support during this time.
