Jackie Lamar Payne

Graveside Services for Jackie Lamar Payne, age 70 of Attalla who went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, October 24, 2021, will be held at Rainbow Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Sammy O’dell officiating.

Jackie was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He was a member of Siberton Baptist Church. His hobbies included fishing, hunting and Alabama football. He will be remembered as a humble, gracious and kind man.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Howell Jack and Margaret Ann Payne; brothers: Jeffery Payne and David Payne and grandson, Caleb Cox.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra Payne; son, Shawn Payne; daughter, Shandi (Chris) Cox; grandchildren: Tiara Kinsley Woodrum, Jayla Payne, Cadence Payne and Ashlyn Cox; sister, Betty Jo (Alton) Power and a host of nieces and nephews.

Special thanks to the 7th floor nurses and staff at Grandview Hospital in Birmingham for their loving care of Jackie.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Jackie’s memory to Siberton Baptist Church.
