Elizabeth Jeanette Adcox Myers of Glencoe, AL went to meet the Lord on December 24, 2022 at her home. Jeanette was born in Marshall County, Alabama on May 25, 1943 to Mildred Galloway and Cecil Adcox.
Jeanette was a very special person who was loved by all that knew her. Her main hobby or delight in life was seeing the joy in others and doing for others to make them happy.
Her life was an example of being selfless, a person that taught us to love one another and to praise the Lord regardless of circumstances, trial, or pain you are feeling.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Mildred Adcox and her son in law, Ricky Hyfield. She is survived by her husband, James Myers; her two children, her daughter, Veronica Hyfield and son, Ty Myers and wife Melisha; grandchildren, Brandon and Justin Hyfield, Micaiah and Peyton Myers; and great grandchild, Gracie Hyfield; her two sisters, Linda Drummond and Yvonne Creek; and her brother, Cecil Adcox Jr. and wife Sonja; and a host of nieces and nephews.
A Christmas Home going will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at Morgan Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be from 11am until 1pm and life celebration service at 1pm with Brother Gary Taylor officiating.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Hyfield, Justin Hyfield, Micaiah Myers, Guy Hyfield, Josh Hyfield, and Jeremiah Draper.
A special thank you to Comfort Care Hospice, Karen Gibbs, Terri Calhoun, Ashley Chapman, Mackenzie Hawkins, and Chaplin Deb. We would also like to give a special thank you to her caregiver, Pam Brown who loved her sunshine.
