Visitation will be from 12p.m. until 1p.m. prior to the service.
Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery with no graveside service.
Upon Edna's marriage to Walter Scott in 1951 they moved to Rome, Georgia where after a couple of years they relocated to Huntsville, Alabama where she worked 25 years at a local bank as a loan officer. Later on she began a career at the Huntsville Hemsi Ambulance Service. In her spare time she owned and operated a picture frame shop. After retirement she traveled. She loved her grandchildren and loved Alabama Football.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Edna Lambert; daughters, Cynthia Townsend and Robin Scott; sister, Juanita Word; and husbands, Walter Scott and Bill Cross.
Edna is survived by Walter (Bert) Scott; grandchildren, Todd Key, Chris (Kelley) Key, Jessica Maffei, and Thomas Townsend; great grandchildren, Keary Maffei; and sibling, Helen Satori.
Pallbearers will be Duane Ball, Brailen Ball, Wendell Word, Justin Word, Keith Gilliland and Gil Isbell.
Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Talley.
