Dorothy Frances Gordon

Funeral services for Dorothy F. Gordon, age 98 of Gallant who passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 will be held at Morgan Funeral Chapel on Sunday, January 30, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Roger Butler officiating. Burial will follow at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 1:00 p.m. Morgan Funeral Chapel & Crematory directing.

Ms. Gordon was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a member of Welcome Baptist Church and enjoyed reading and watching westerns on T.V.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Jim and Winnie Stewart; husband, Cecil Gordon and daughter, Rosalind Hill.

Survivors include her children: David (Donna) Findley, Carol (Jimmie) Smith, Paul (Theresa) Coggins and Jean (Robert) Coggins Benefield; grandchildren: Ann (David) Abbanty, Sherry Hill, Wayne Hill, Cindy Hill, Kristin (Justin) Henderson, Megan Findley, Jason Wood, Stephanie (Dustin) Scott, Stephen (Melissa) Coggins, Matthew Coggins, John (Aundrea) Coggins, Andrew Coggins, Adam Pentecost, Daniel (Amanda) Pentecost and Michael (Megan) Pentecost and 18 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
