David, also known as “DT” to those who were close to him, lit up every room he entered with his charisma and infectious personality. He had a sense of humor that kept those around him laughing and a heart of gold that brought joy to all those who crossed his path. Those who knew David would say that he was truly the type of man to give anyone the shirt off his back. David was passionate about football and loved relishing the memories of his own football days. In his youth, David starred as quarterback for Gadsden High School bearing the #14 and led the school to a championship title in 1986. He was later honored with a football scholarship to Kansas State, one of his most cherished accomplishments. David enjoyed spending time outdoors with his dogs, playing horseshoes, and rolling his lucky dice that he carried everywhere with him. David was known for his sense of style; he dressed well wherever he went and even enjoyed making jewelry. David often spoke of how much he adored his two daughters more than anything in the world. David will be fondly remembered for his charm, laughter, and the silly moments he created with those he loved. Rest peacefully in the arms of the Lord, knowing that your memory will forever be cherished.
