Cathy Terry Bishop

Cathy Bishop, age 55, loving mother of two and grandmother of three, passed away in the early hours of February 6, 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer. Cathy was born July 2, 1966 and grew up surrounded by her large family with five brothers and three sisters. She was a beautiful soul with much love to offer and will be missed by all those left behind.

Cathy was preceded in death by her father, Robert E. Terry; mother, Laurah B. Costner; brothers: Ravis D. Terry and Jerry Lee Terry and sister, Joyce M. Robinson.

She is survived by her children: Toni L. Dewberry (Andrew) and Ashley H. Babcock (William); grandchildren: Jaxon R. Dewberry, Isabella F. Dewberry and Clayton K. Babcock; sisters: Gay Nell Cooper (Bobby) and Sherry A. Cox; brothers: Garry D. Terry (Sarah), Robert L. Terry (Pat) and Junior Ray Terry (Patti) and numerous nieces and nephews.

We know that we can’t have you but we’re happy knowing that the angels have finally got you back. Good to a wonderful woman and beautiful mother.

Funeral services will be held at Morgan Funeral Chapel on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow at Mount Lebanon First Congregational Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the service at the funeral home beginning at 10:00 a.m. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
