He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, cherished his family greatly, and will be missed greatly by them. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Genevie Morgan; sister, Rhonda Morgan Atkins; brother-in-law, Mike Atkins; and parents-in-law, Ed and Wanda Logan. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Suzi; son, Matthew (Rachel) Morgan; son, Jonathan (Brittany) Morgan; grandchildren, Braxton, Annabel Lei, and a soon to be born granddaughter who will miss knowing her Pop Pop; nieces, Brandi (Scott) Benefield and Amy Stephens; and many cousins.
Pat was a 1972 graduate of Emma Sansom High School. He was a Store Director for Brunos, Inc., for 35 years, to which he credits his long marriage, because that is where he and Suzi met and worked together many years ago. He was a member of Rainbow Church of Christ, and he loved his church family. We love him and we will miss him more than words can say, but because of his faith and our belief, we know that this separation is only temporary.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Pat’s honor to Alabama Christian Academy in Montgomery, Alabama (see link below under "Show your support" section), or to Rainbow Omega in Eastaboga, Alabama.
The family will receive guests from 11am to 12pm and the funeral will be at 12pm on Wednesday, April 3, at Rainbow Church of Christ, 2201 Rainbow Drive in Gadsden, Alabama.
