Brenda Joyce Brothers

Brenda Joyce Norris Brothers, age 75, passed away on Friday, June 2, 2023. She was born on August 26, 1947 to Pershing and Auvilene Norris. A chapel service will be held at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Attalla, on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at 2:00pm. Visitation will be prior to the service at 1:00pm until 2:00pm with Pastor Tim Wells officiating.

Brenda was born in Gadsden, Alabama and attended Etowah High School. She loved her family so very much. She also loved all Alabama sports teams and cheered for them passionately. Brenda loved the Lord and her church family. She was loved by many people and will leave a void that can never be filled. Brenda would want everyone to rejoice with her in the fact that she is now no longer sick and in her heavenly home with the Lord and all her loved ones gone before her.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Pershing and Auvilene Norris; brother, Lyvurl Norris; father and mother-in-law, Jerome and Frances Brothers; brothers-in-law, Larry Brothers and Earnest Campbell; and nephew, Wendell Brothers.

Brenda is survived by her husband, Tony Brothers; her children, Jeff (Mary Ann) Brothers and Kelley (Mark) Ryan; her grandchildren, Chelsea (Caleb) Gray, Jarrett (Kala) Brothers, Anna (Michael) Cowart, Rachel Ryan, Cody and Caleb Brothers; great-grandchildren, Tiffin and Truitt Gray and Brody Brothers; sisters, Betty Sue Campbell and Tammy (Scott) Barksdale; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and too many friends to count.

Pallbearers will be Rusty Wimpee, Barkley Wimpee, Grayson Wimpee, Jarrett Brothers, Caleb Brothers, and Cody Brothers.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested for donation to be mailed to Lakeview Baptist Church, 6511 Bass Way Southside, AL 35907.
