Bobby Stanfield, age 80, of Boaz, Alabama passed away on Monday, November 1, 2021. Bobby was born October 18, 1941. Funeral Service will be at 2p.m. Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at Morgan Funeral Chapel with Bro. Josh Brogdon officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 1 until 2p.m. and from 5 until 7p.m. Tuesday, November 2, 2021.
Bobby was 1 of 7 children and had to quit school at the age of 15 to pick cotton to help feed his family. He later obtained his GED and joined the Army after he married his wife, Charlotte. He served his country and served 2 tours in Vietnam. He later owned his own business detailing vehicles. His greatest joy was his grandchildren, watching Alabama football and sitting on his front porch.
Preceded in death by his mother and father, Beulah and Bob Stanfield; Sister, Virginia McDowell; sister, Helen Fielder; brother, Raymond Stanfield, and brother, Bud Stanfield.
He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Stanfield; son, Jeff Stanfield; daughter, Charline (Jeff) Watkins; daughter, Robin Chastain; grandchildren, Kevin (Taylor) Chastain, Madison (Jarrod) Smith, Jayda Ford and Olivia Watkins; and great-grandchildren, Shelby Rae Chastain.
Pallbearers will be Heath Stanfield, Lonnie Stanfield, Collin Stanfield, Jeremy Stonicher, Tim Stonicher, and Chris Golden.
