Berton Walter Miller

A Memorial service is being held at Faith Worship Center (55 West Main St. Glencoe, AL 35905) on Friday, August 30, 2024 at 11:00AM. Pastor Mark Gidley to officiate.

Bert was born in Riverdale, Illinois. In 1979 he moved to Rainbow City with his job. He started his career at the Whiting Corporation (in Illinois) in 1961 and transferred to Trambeam Corporation where he retired as Vice President in 2006. Bert was very active in his church, Church of the Holy Spirit (in Attalla) to where he became an ordained minister in 2012.

Preceded in death by his parents, Elwin Miller and Esther Miller

Bert is survived by his wife, Susan Talaga Miller; sons, Matthew Miller (Gaylyn) and Christopher Miller (Karen); daughter, Jennifer Barr (Robert); brother Robert Miller (Helen); sister, Eles Miller; grandchildren, Noah Miller, Jillian Miller, Ethan Miller, Keagan Miller, Natalie Barr, Cooper Miller, Amelia Barr, Owen Barr, and Quinn Miller.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Gadsden Health & Rehab and the nursing staff at Riverview Regional Medical Center.
