William James “Jim” Livsey III, died of cancer Friday, August 2, 2013 at home after a brief illness. He was 60.
Born in Atlanta at Ft. McPherson, he graduated Cum Laude from the University of Georgia and had worked at Atlanta Medical since 1986 as a Surgical, Intensive Care RN and Employee Health Nurse. He was former President of the Atlanta Miniature Schnauzer Club, and a member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Atlanta.
A memorial service will be held Friday, August 23, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 435 Peachtree Street, Atlanta 30308. A reception in the church parish hall will immediately follow. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the St. Luke’s Episcopal Church Music Fund, c/o David Lowery-Jim Livsey, 435 Peachtree Street, Atlanta 30308.
