Tom died on March 6, 2016 after sudden cardiac arrest. He was born in Daytona Beach, Florida and had a life-long love for the beach and for warm weather. He attended Auburn University, and was a graduate of Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, California. His first career was as a commercial photographer. Later, he used his many talents to become a website designer, software developer and network administrator. He taught himself computer programming, and wrote two outstanding software programs that ran flawlessly and were installed at over fifteen financial institutions. In the last few years, he focused on his other major interest, which was trading futures and other securities. He was that most unusual person who had both outstanding technical and computer skills, as well as artistic talent. He enjoyed keeping in shape at the gym, and had a great love for animals. He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Fiske Robison, and his father, Thomas Robison. He is survived by his loving wife, Diane Baker, who will miss him more than words can express, and by his brother Allen Brinckerhoff and sister-in-law Jane Brinckerhoff, brother Jack Brinckerhoff and sister-in-law JoAnn Brinckerhoff, sister Marjorie Jore and brother-in-law Olav Jore, and nieces and nephews: David Brinckerhoff, Matthew Brinckerhoff, Dan Brinckerhoff, Sharon Gentry, Jan Ramer, Anna Lynn Houk, Linda Ramer, Leigh Ellen Ramer, Karen Jore, Katherine Jore, and Kristen Jore Swanson. A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 13th at H.M. Patterson and Son Oglethorpe Hill in Brookhaven. The family will host a reception following the service at their residence.
