Suzanne Meadow Bond

Suzanne Meadow Bond, 75, died unexpectedly on Friday, April 5, 2013. She is survived by her husband Merritt Steed Bond; Daughters; Mrs. Francis Hopkinson Smith, IV (Meadow) and Mrs. Frederick Marion Glass, Jr. (Elizabeth); Granddaughters, Merritt Ann Glass, Kathleen Meadow Glass, Ivey Treadwell Smith, Elizabeth Hopkinson Smith and Holly Bond Smith. Other survivors include her Brother-in-law and Sister-in-law William Moses and Teri Bond. She was the daughter of the late William King Meadow and Nan Ivey Meadow. She was preceded in death by her Brother, David Wilson Meadow. Mrs. Bond attended Washington Seminary and graduated from the Westminster Schools. Mrs. Bond also attended Randolph Macon College where she was a member of Phi Mu and graduated from Emory University. She was a member of the Atlanta Debutant Club, the Cotillion and the Assemblies. She was also an active member of Peachtree Road United Methodist Church. Mrs. Bond was a charter member of the S and B Sewing Club. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Peachtree Road United Methodist Church.
