Susan Reed Delano, age 58, the daughter of Amelia Pendergraft Reed and the late Bill H. Reed, passed away on Sunday, October 5, 2014.Susan will fondly be remembered as fun-loving, joke telling, dancing and singing daughter, mother, sister, grandmother and friend. She loved her accounting and consulting work, as well as her time spent at the lake and beach. She is survived by her mother, Amelia; son, Brandon (Beth) Bartlett; brother, Ken Reed; sisters, Lisa Reed and Janet Woody; grandchildren, Bryson, Jackson, and Madison Bartlett. The family will receive friends at H.M. Patterson & Son Oglethorpe Hill Chapel on Wednesday from 6-8 PM. The memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday at the funeral home. There will be a reception at the Reed residence following the service. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made in her name to: The 410 Bridge or Compassion International.
