Scott Eric Carter, 53, of Brookhaven, Georgia unexpectedly passed away on Monday, February 26, 2018. Scott passed out and woke up in heaven. Scott attended Chamblee High School, Southern Polytechnic State University and University of Georgia. He was married to Karen Sudduth Carter for 19 years. Scott and Karen had 3 beautiful and amazing children. Scott was blessed to pursue a career in architecture. He felt honored to have been employed at Warner Summers, Trammell Crow and most recently Consultants and Builders, Inc. He was a member at Buckhead Church where he faithfully served in any needed capacity. He is survived by his wife, Karen, his children Hattie, Edison, and Ellis. Scott’s parents, Steve and Julie Carter, his sister, Cathy Mclure (Howard) and brothers, Steve Carter (Hope) and Ron Carter (Sandy). He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews, who he loved dearly. Visitation will be Friday, March 2, 5:00 p.m – 7:00 p.m., H M Patterson Oglethorpe Chapel and the funeral will be Saturday, March 3, 10:00 a.m. St. James United Methodist Church.
