Robert Hayes Martin went home to be with his Lord July 10, 2014. He was the only child of Hubert H. Martin and Iris Brien Martin. Hayes was an accomplished writer and remarkable realtor for over 40 years. He grew up in Savannah, and graduated from Benedictine Military School. He earned his AB degree from St. Bernard College in Al. He served in the U.S. Army before his 40 year career as a licensed real estate broker in GA. Being a member of First Baptist Church of Atlanta, he loved God and tried to help those he could as best he could… he mentored many. His loved ones thank God for his life, his legacy and his witness. Flowers accepted or donations made to Gideons, Account 10074, P.O. Box 29832, Atlanta, Ga. 30359. Funeral Services will be held Monday, July 14, at First Baptist Church of Atlanta at 11am. The family will receive friends at the church at 10am. Interment Oak Hill Cemetery, Cartersville, GA. at 3pm. Hayes is survived by his loving wife Jean and cousin Dawn Barrell.
