Paul E. Davis Jr.

Paul was born in Baltimore, Maryland to Paul and Eleanor Davis on February 15, 1930. He was a graduate of Mount Saint Joseph’s high school in Baltimore, Maryland. He received his bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from the University of Maryland in 1953. Shortly after graduating from the University of Maryland, he served 2 years in the U.S. Army at Walter Reed Hospital. He married Joanne Alexander on July 16, 1960 at Church of the Nativity in Washington, D.C. He worked as a pharmacist for several companies for 47 years. He continued to do volunteer pharmacy work until he was 80 years old. His passion was enjoying time each year with his family at the beach.

He was preceded in death by siblings, William Davis, Joan Signorelli and Janet Giordano and his parents, Eleanor and Paul Davis.

Paul was the loving husband of Joanne A. Davis; father of Paul J. Davis (Maureen), Michael D. Davis, Mark A. Davis (Christine), Patrick E. Davis (Michele), Ann D. Glaude (Michael) and Matthew F. Davis; grandfather of Paul J. Davis, Jr., Alexander W. Davis, Liam A. Davis, James P. Davis, Abigail E. Davis, Michael A. Glaude Jr., Timothy D. Glaude, Rebekah M. Glaude, Matthew Miles Davis and Lily G. Davis and great grandfather of Jane E. Davis and Nora M. Davis.

A memorial mass will be held at 11AM on Saturday, September 24, 2022, with Father John Ulrich of Our Lady of the Assumption officiating. Arrangements are by H.M. Patterson & Son - Oglethorpe Hill Chapel.
