Mrs. Patricia S Guy

Patricia Marie Shippen Guy was born in 1929, in Thomasville Georgia. She was a resident of East Point Georgia since 1957 and passed away peacefully on November 13, 2022, in Fayetteville GA. She was the daughter of Anna Lee Morgan and Col. John Leroy Shippen. Mrs. Guy was a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) and enjoyed working well into her 70s. She loved her family and being generous to others. Mrs. Guy was a long-time member of St. John’s Evangelist Catholic Church in Hapeville where she sang in the choir and served as a cantor. In addition to her parents and brothers and sisters, she is preceded in death by her husband of 47 years Charles Tricot Guy, Sr. Mrs. Guy is survived by her 7 children and their spouses. Julie Reece of Auburn AL, Patricia Taylor (David) of Woodstock, Ga; Charles Tricot Jr. (Denise) of Suwanee Ga. Geraldine Franklin (Mark) Morris AL, John Andrew (Dawn), McDonough, GA Anna Lee Henggeler (Randy) Fayetteville, GA Marie Clark (Tony) Marietta, GA; Sister-in-Law Sister Mary Julienne Guy OSU of Louisville KY, 24 grandchildren, and their spouses: 28 Great Grand Children. Many nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held at Saint John The Evangelist Catholic Church in Hapeville GA 11/17/22 at 9:30 AM, A visitation from 6-8 PM on 11/16/22 at HM Patterson, 4450 Peachtree Rd. Atlanta, GA. The Rosary will conclude the visitation. Internment at Westview Cemetery.
