Mary Elizabeth “Betty” Weatherly Our loving mother passed away into Heaven early in the morning hours at her home Thursday, April 2, 2015. She was predeceased by her husband, Alvis Morrisson Weatherly, Jr., her parents, identical twin sister, and brother. Betty had an active life as a housewife and a school teacher, and volunteered as a member of Peachtree Road United Methodist Church with her husband, Al. She is survived by her children, Ann (Henry) Cobb, Beth ( Logan) Williamson, and Al (Diane) Weatherly. She is also survived by grandchildren, Alvis (Kathryn) Weatherly, Amy (Kendall) Shaw, Lelia and Frances Williamson and three great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be held at H.M. Patterson & Son Oglethorpe Hill, 4550 Peachtree Rd at 2:00 PM on Monday with a visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow at Arlington Memorial Park in Sandy Springs. In lieu of flowers the family wishes donations to be made to Peachtree Road UMC Senior Ministry, 3180 Peachtree Rd. NW, Atlanta, GA 30305 or to The Alzheimer’s Association (www.alz.org)
